Big Reds In Barrington!Come join us on Friday, March 9th, from 7:00-9:30 pm for our 3rd annual Big Reds in Barrington tasting! This year's event will be held at Makray Memorial Golf Club (1010 S. Northwest Hwy), just a five minute drive from our Barrington store. We’ll be popping the corks on over 75 highly-rated "Big Reds" from around the globe. This year’s event will showcase top California producers such as Pride, Lewis, Silver Oak, Caymus, Chateau Montelena and Duckhorn along with top selections from Barolo, Bordeaux, Ribera del Duero and so much more. We’ll even have a handful of top white wines and Champagnes on hand! In addition to our already low prices, special discounts will be offered at the event. To accompany these stellar wines, Makray will prepare a grand display of cheeses, breads and hors d’oeuvres. The cost is only $50 per person. On Thursday, March 22nd, the Wine Discount Center in Chicago will host an event that combines two of the most wonderful things in life: Pinot Noir and Bacon! Complimenting an array of Pinot Noir from top producers in California, Oregon, France and New Zealand will be an array of bacon from Paulina Meat Market and The Butcher and Larder.
